It isn't a coincidence that animals trust in me and naturally migrate towards me. That is because I have spent a lifetime working with animals and I place a high value on their well being and comfort and value in our world.
On day to day basis I structure my life around a plethora of animals in my collection who have either found me or been rescued. I strive to gain each ones trust in order that I'm able to give them a better experience while in my care whilst dealing with varying levels of anxiety or over exuberance in each animal.
Dog God, Horse Whisperer, and The Cat Lady
My skill for making animal connections evolved thru childhood pets and small beginnings of my very first job with the Humane Society at age eighteen. Here I dealt with animals in their most vulnerable state and became recognized as the girl that could rehabilitate an aggressive German Shepherd that was slated for euthanasia that the rest of the staff were afraid of. For me it just required trust and respect to give him confidence and it was just something that had to be done for him to succeed. Since then I've earned the names Dog God, Horse Whisperer, and The Cat Lady.
Truly I am an animal whisperer and strive to understand each one more personally. My husband Eric, has learned well from me. He has a soft and calm personality that animals relate well too and they enjoy his company. Eric has learned to have a good watchful eye and is always soft minded in his handling of pets .
